Florida graduates have worked as staffers at leading media outlets including National Geographic, the Associated Press, MSNBC, Palm Beach Post, St. Petersburg Times, Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel, and others too numerous to list. UF grad Essdras Suarez of the Boston Globe was a member of Denver's Rocky Mountain News 1999 Pulitzer Prize winning team coverage of the Columbine massacre. In 2000, Suarez also won the prestigious Robert F. Kennedy Award for international photojournalism. Corbis photographer Stephanie Sinclair is based in the Middle East and is one of the most sought after assignment photographers in the field. In 2004, she won the prestigious Visa D'Or at the Visa Pour L'Image festival in Perpignan, France. Her work has been published in the New York Times Magazine, Time, Newsweek and Rolling Stone.
